ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

Helps you develop the required critical, enquiring approach to nursing that supports the high quality, safe, evidence-based and effective care across dynamic, contemporary healthcare environments.

Gives you the knowledge, skills and abilities to practise collaboratively across health care settings and communities and within the context of the Singapore Nursing Board's Domains of Practice and the global perspectives of health.

Comprises eight modules that are fully taught by Edinburgh Napier University over 24 months (part-time).

PROFESSIONAL ACCREDITATION

The Bachelor of Science Nursing (Top Up) programme is accredited by the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must:


Applicants must be of age 18 & above

Be a registered nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) who holds a certificate or diploma in nursing

Currently hold a practicing certificate (full and conditional registration only) issued by SNB

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

If English is not your first language, you must meet one of the following qualifications:


IELTS minimum overall band score of 6.0 (at least 5.5 for each component)

'C6' in English at GCE 'O' Levels

'C' for GCSE

IGCSE (as first or second language)

Grade 6 or higher at SPM

Confirmed Medium of Instruction

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Upon successful completion of this programme, you will have the knowledge and skills to gain graduate-level employment as a Nurse, Clinical Nurse Consultant, Nurse Manager, Nurse Educator or Nurse Researcher. Graduates can also further their studies by taking up a Master's Degree to pursue career prospects in more senior positions.
